Energy Neighbours annual conference

Energy Neighbours works with residents and community groups across Kirklees. It aims to empower local people to take climate action and reduce fuel poverty in their communities.
The Energy Neighbours Annual Conference is an open event to celebrate the project’s achievements, recognise progress, and share learning from the project and similar initiatives across the UK.
Held at the University of Huddersfield’s Oastler Building, it will bring together community organisations, local residents, businesses and sector experts to reflect, network, and shape future collaboration and the future of Energy Neighbours.
The Energy Neighbours Conference will:
- Celebrate local impact: Highlight achievements of the Energy Neighbours Project.
- Share learning: Exchange knowledge and best practices from the project and comparable regional and national initiatives.
- Build connections: Strengthen cross-sector networks between community, voluntary, residents, businesses and public sector partners.
- Shape future direction: Gather insights and recommendations to inform future activity.
